I went to see Genevra a couple of months ago. I suffer from manic depression and was in the middle of a deep depression. When I am in that state it is very difficult to lift my mood at all or receive any relief but Genevra was recommended to me so I went along. The session was wonderful, as soon as I entered the room I felt her warm energy. We spoke about what I was feeling, then we begun the session. During the Reiki I saw images of events and people in my life I also saw my strengths and passions that I should follow. It was completely unexpected and so powerful. It lifted some of my darkness and left me feeling inspired. I have since been back twice for more equally wonderful experiences. After deciding it woul be best to do my Reiki Second Degree attunment with a Reiki Master closer to my home here in Hastings. I closed my eyes and picked a name from the list of all the Reiki teachers in the area. It was Genevra Jolley. As usual the universe chose the best teacher for me. Genevra is a truly warm, loving person, and a generous teacher who not only offers to share her substantial knowledge and experience with her students, but also - and most importantly, in my opinion, encourages each student to follow their own individual path of learning and discovery of the wonderful world of Reiki healing in a safe and welcoming environment. The Reiki One was a great experience for me. It's took me to a journey beyond my expectation. I was raised to my higher self of consciousness. If I may say, to the peak of touching my true self. What I understand from my Reiki One is; I have returned to my father's house, so I am willing to work for eternity and one day I will achieve true glory, everlasting glory. I went to Genevra at a time in my life where I felt very confused and lost and frightened about the which path to choose for my life.  I had never experienced Reiki before and knew little about what it was.  During the first session I experienced beautiful physical sensations of release, peace and comfort beyond anything I could have imagined. I strongly believe the sessions I have had have profoundly helped me to take control of my life, guiding my body to be in the present and confront the obstacles I needed to confront to move forward in my life a positive and free way.  It is a true privilege to be treated by Genevra, she is very special both in her healing abilities and her spiritual insightfulness...
